Chris Michael's Steakhouse

From the outside, my friend thought it was too old school and resembled a catering hall. Don't judge a book by its cover! Stepping inside, it's nice and gives old school steakhouse vibes. I've been to newer, more modern steakhouses and they're gimmicky - you go there for the Insta pics and vibe. This place doesn't need all that because they have the food and the service. Our waiter was impeccable- Sorry that I forgot his name. He was very young but very polite, accommodating, and knew the menu in and out. Food came out fast, cocktails were inventive and strong. I got the fig cosmo and it was so good! The sangria was also delicious. But the star here is the food. I got the surf and turf. Filet cooked to perfection with the perfect crust. Lobster tail was meaty and delicious. The garlic mash was exceptional. We also got the firecracker calamari and shrimp. That sauce packs a kick and the calamari was soft and light. This is definitely one of the better steakhouses in the area. Will definitely be back!

My friend and I ordered the 36 oz porterhouse for 2 as a medium. It was cooked to a medium, but it also came with a lot of charring, more closer to burnt. I'm not big on charring, and especially not burnt. This didn't impress me since we are at a steakhouse. The server didn't pay too much attention to us. He spent a lot of time at other tables. The restaurant definitely had a fancy decoration. Overall, the experience wasn't worth the price.

Definitely recommend making reservations if you plan on dining here. Had to wait to be seated after our reservation time slot because it was super busy but it was worth the wait. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Had a pitcher of their sangria and it was wonderful, steaks were cooked to perfection, very flavourful and presentation was superb. Will definitely go again when I'm in the mood for a good piece of steak. Only thing I'm a little disappointed about is that the tables are place a little too closely to each other but this is not a deal breaker for me.

I went to the bar mainly to just have drinks but I was a little hungry in the menu looked incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Drinks were also great and the bartenders Jasmine and Frankie were awesome, very good people. They look like they work very hard just as everyone else to the people in the kitchen. The octopus is absolutely amazing

We ordered French onion soup.. we all agreed Arthur’s was better. Fried calamari with 2 shrimps was ok . French fries over cooked. Crab cake was so so … I ordered lobster tail with butter on the side .. they drenched it in butter. It tastes good but I don’t want butter on it. We also ordered New Zealand lamb chops kids say it’s good , I feel it was a little salty. Also we ordered beef ribs, that’s slow cooked and tender, tastes like corned beef and also the texture is the same. All plates came with mash potatoes, you can’t choose the side, it’s predetermined. I didn’t like it, had an after 👅 taste. We also ordered sweet 🍮 desserts. Cream Bule was great the black dots are vanilla beans … which means they put only good stuff
